Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Midlle Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga

We will leave Fez and go to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas and its cedar forests. This mountain range stretches 350 kilometers across Morocco, from southwest to northwest.
We will drive through villages such as Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland” for its architecture and status as one of the country’s most exclusive ski destinations, and Azrou, one of Morocco’s most famous Berber cities.

On our 2-day desert excursion from Fes to Marrakech, we’ll also pass via the Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorges, as well as villages like Midelt and Erfoud. From Erfoud, we’ll follow a desert road to Merzouga.
We will take camels to the camp at dusk, and after a traditional dinner, we will spend the night in the middle of the dunes.

Merzouga ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Marrakech

An early start is required to enjoy the stunning dawn in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast before returning to Merzouga by camel, where the driver awaits. Then we leave the desert and head west through Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has cut out a magnificent canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-sided canyon. Then we drive via numerous Kasbahs and palm tree orchards to Ouarzazate, where we will have free time for lunch.

Then we drive to Marrakesh past the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified hamlet designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in movies like as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV series like Game of Thrones. Finally, we travel via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Then we drive you to the airport or your lodging. End of the tour
