Chefchaouen ⇢ Azrou ⇢ Midelt

After breakfast in your riad, you will depart Chefchaouen and go to Azrou, a picturesque mountain village known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to Midelt. During this tour, you will catch sights of the Middle and Higher Atlas mountains. You are stopping in Azrou, a Berber village in the heart of Morocco’s famous cedar forest, where you might see Barbary apes. After spending some time in the forest, your journey continues to Midelt through the majestic Atlas highlands and mountains, where you will spend the night.

  After breakfast. Then you ride camels back to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. We leave the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet.
After a tour around Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized marble workshops. We next drive to Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has cut out a magnificent canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-sided canyon. These gorges are perfect for rock climbing. Feel free to roam through the gorges and enjoy the scenery. Free time for lunch at a restaurant.
