Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas mountains ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Dades Valley

The 3-day Marrakech desert tour begins at 8 AM from the airport or your Marrakech Hotel. Then drive across the magnificent High Atlas highlands and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Stops will be made for panoramic views of the stunning scenery.

Following that, We will visit the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou—a fortified settlement designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in movies such as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy. In addition, there are television shows such as Game of Thrones. Then we travel to Ouarzazate, known as ¨The Gate of the Desert. After lunch, we will continue our tour of Rose Valley, passing through Skoura’s vast palm grove. Finally, we drive to Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night.

Dades Valley ⇢ Tinghir Oasis ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Merzouga desert

On the second day of your Morocco desert tour, we travel through the Dades Valley and stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Valley to take in the stunning panorama of the Dades Gorges, where the passage of the Todra River has cut a spectacular canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-side gorge. Feel free to roam through the gorges and enjoy the scenery. Following that, we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. There will be time for lunch along the route.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga. You switch to camels to cross the sandy desert. A pouse will be made for you to admire the spectacular sunset from the top of a high dune. Then go to the desert luxury camp, where you may listen to Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire beneath the huge open sky of stars. Dinner and stay at the camp.

Merzouga desert ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Fes

After having breakfast on your own, lift camels back to Merzouga, where your motorist is staying for you. Next, we went from the desert and trip to Rissani town, which was Tafilalet’s former capital. We visit one of the fossilized marble shops in Erfoud after taking a perambulation through the Rissani souk.

Following that, we drive alongside the Ziz Valley and pause to take in the expansive panorama of the Ziz Valley. Lunch break free in Midelt. Next, we head into the Cedars Forest, home of the Barbary Macaques. While exploring the forest, feel free to give them food. Subsequently, we travel to Ifrane, which is renowned for its frigid temperatures, snowfall, and chalet-style homes surprise it’s dubbed the Switzerland of Morocco.
