On the first day of your Errachidia to Merzouga desert tour 3 days, we will pick you up from the airport. Then drive south to the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Dinner and stay at Merzouga.

Merzouga Desert ⇢ Nomad Family⇢ Khamlia Village

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the lovely sunrise in the hotel. Free time for breakfast. Then we dedicate the day to exploring the Merzouga region. The area contains numerous magnificent sights, including dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossil locations, and fabulous oases. Which are perfect locations for a variety of outdoor sports.

We begin our excursion in Merzouga by driving off-road to see an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we visit the nomad family who lives in a woven tent. Drink Berber tea and learn about their way of life. Our next stop is Khamlia village, where you may enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances. Its residents are from sub-Saharan African nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Free time for lunch at a restaurant. Following that, we take a stroll around the palm tree grove. Then drive a few kilometers to visit the wild lake of Merzouga, commonly known as Flamingo Lake.

In the afternoon, you swap on camels and travel the sandy desert, stopping at the top of a high dune to see the sunset before continuing to the luxury camp. You can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

Merzouga desert ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Errachidia

  Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the lovely sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast. Then you take camels back to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. Depending on your flight schedule, we will depart the desert and visit Rissani town. Rissani, the historical capital of Tafilalet, remains a key regional commerce center. After a tour around the Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized marble workshops. Then we’ll drive to Errachidia, making stops for panoramic vistas, including the breathtaking panorama of the Ziz Valley. Finally, we arrived at Errachidia airport. End of the desert tour.
