Errachidia ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga

On the first day of your Errachidia to Merzouga desert tour 3 days, we will pick you up from the airport. Then drive south to the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Dinner and stay at Merzouga.

Merzouga Desert ⇢ Nomad Family⇢ Khamlia Village

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the lovely sunrise in the hotel. Free time for breakfast. Then we dedicate the day to exploring the Merzouga region. The area contains numerous magnificent sights, including dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossil locations, and fabulous oases. Which are perfect locations for a variety of outdoor sports.

We begin our excursion in Merzouga by driving off-road to see an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we visit the nomad family who lives in a woven tent. Drink Berber tea and learn about their way of life. Our next stop is Khamlia village, where you may enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances. Its residents are from sub-Saharan African nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Free time for lunch at a restaurant. Following that, we take a stroll around the palm tree grove. Then drive a few kilometers to visit the wild lake of Merzouga, commonly known as Flamingo Lake.

In the afternoon, you swap on camels and travel the sandy desert, stopping at the top of a high dune to see the sunset before continuing to the luxury camp. You can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

Merzouga desert ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Marrakech

An early start is required to enjoy the stunning dawn in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast before returning to Merzouga by camel, where the driver awaits. Then we leave the desert and head west through Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has cut out a magnificent canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-sided canyon. Then we drive via numerous Kasbahs and palm tree orchards to Ouarzazate, where we will have free time for lunch.

Then we drive to Marrakesh past the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified hamlet designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in over 10 movies, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV series such as Game of Thrones. Finally, we travel via the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh. Then we will drive you to the airport or your hotel. End of the desert tour.
